Coloring The Town

My cousin and his girlfriend were tasked to tag the city with Vodacom Color stickers and I played the photographer.

Walking in the sun isn't my favourite thing to do but looking at some of the pictures it was quite fun and worth it. Wits was our second location; this is where they study...

Reflection eternal (shot)

We saw this stylish young lady as we were leaving Wits. I did the whole: "hey can i take a picture of your outfit for my blog?" thing for the first time!

Nqobile and Kabelo in colour

Next stop was Newtown that's where we bumped into Al Da III

Its colourful world!

And then there was traffic. Mother of all buzzkills

Nzolo Cafe for the Loeries

For those of you heading down to Cape Town this weekend for the Loeries be sure to give this vibrant coffee shop a visit

On the menu: African cuisine, breakfast, salads, sandwiches and more!

The cafĂ© is always buzzing with interesting characters which makes it a great chilling spot for creatives.  Part of the experience is the African pop playlist that they have so that’s good food and music

Enter Fratpack...

Their world

Mr Calibre ft Mageu

"When you have talented young men making music its something but when they're all from one family, well its worth hearing and what's more they're brothers as well"

 Mixtape coming soon...

Stars Breed Stars

Just the other day I was going 'bout Will Smith's lil star now its Rev Run's turn...

Ok, ok, ok, my chief reason for liking Diggy right now is because I'm hoping he gives that Bieber brat a run for his money! Secondly, he has braces and I had those my whole high school career *wink*

 Lastly, he's also a blogg(er)! digslifeofthejetsetter.blogspot.com

I listened to his stuff earlier on today... He isn't the world's greatest rapper but he can put a decent enough verse together and I appreciate that, he is only a teen i rate he can only get better...

One day when I have the luxury of bandwidth I'll upload his video with Lupe and Pharrell. That makes him cool right?

Everything... is Kung Fu

How do I stop myself from tweeting in a movie when every line sounds like a tweet?

Enter The Karate Kid...

So the movie opened last week on Friday and i am glad it didnt take soo long to watch it Numetro we owe you one (insert wink) The last thing you want to happen when you watch a movie that has been a childhood favourite is have it not live up to the standards. In our books Mr Miyagi would have been proud of Mr Han so are we!

Jaden Smith is a bow wow! His performance was convincing had  facial expressions for days. Cheng the villian dude was also quite natural, gave me the creeps(well a bit).

I will try and not bore you all by being a movie buff and all but you knew the shot list was coming RIGHT ? RIGHT !

Props to the D.O.P the handheld shots were intense and well motivated! Oh yes not to mention the silhouttes they were literal without being corny somehow you knew they would come but watching them made it so memorable and worthwhile.

Brilliant production all round *applauds*
